I studied photography and illustration at Newcastle College of Art and Salisbury College. Soon after, I moved to London and worked as a photographic illustrator. My clients included New Scientist Magazine, Princess Marcella Borghese Cosmetics, and Business Management Magazine.
This experience has proven invaluable as I base my portraits on the most striking or unusual compositions, and I have a trained eye for lighting, mood, and colour.
I live and work on my houseboat, Serendipity, on the banks of the Penryn river at Islington Wharf. It is the perfect studio with amazing light and a tranquil atmosphere.
My medium is oil paint on wooden board.

Once commissioned, I will discuss your exact requirements. This could range from a formal or corporate image to something very personal to yourself or to your loved ones. I would then arrange a meeting and a photo shoot to obtain a picture upon which to base the portrait.
